Wow! This is a very dynamic image, well executed and processed. It captures the movement of the waves very well and I truly enjoy it.
As in "Shine", the exposure really has a profound effect on the image. 1.3 seconds captures the movement of the waves very well, and brings a dynamic feel to the image. The slight tilt also does this very well. I really like the processing in this image. I can't put my foot on exactly what it is, but I like it.
Any critiques on this would really just be nitpicks, and here they are. I would have angled the camera slightly to the right to capture the water a bit more, as well as perhaps utilizing some HDR to reduce the blown-out highlights on the clouds.
All in all, this is a very dynamic image and is executed impeccably. You've earned a fave from me.
yes, i'm aware of that, but was so excited for that capture that i didn't pay attention to the horizontal line (which can easily be straightened on adobe photoshop). Thanks
It is rare that I comment, but since you asked for a critique, there is one thing that caught my eye almost immediately, and that is the water line is not straight. I do like the muted colours all the same, nice work. G.
