Description

Today i went out to picture some waterscapes, and spent a lot of time on this particular beach.
It was pretty cloudy so i managed to capture some cloud colouring of the
nearby thermoelectrane, and yes, the stones were like that when i came :D

Wow! Quite a foreboding and ominous piece. Your chosen pallet really reflects upon the Impact of the piece, especially because this is a stereotypical seaside scape, and yet it is in contrast with the seaside stereotype. I believe that it is this fact that helps to draw the audience in and really adds to the whole beauty of the picture. Quite amazing really. Your technique of composition is also quite astounding, the way you have built the frame against the rocks and the sky, as if those are the wave's crashing against the earth. This motif is also complimented by the lights in the background resembling that of fire's, adding to the darker themes of the piece, which again are complimented by your colour scheme. This also rings true with those stones i see in the foreground. For me, it is like a representation of crumbling, like the destruction that follows the 'calm before the storm.'

All in all, a very strong, thought out piece. Very good work.
